If your salary is quoted as “a package” in your employment contract, this means your salary includes superannuation, this income tax calculator will re-calculates your gross salary, so that you’ll know your actual salary and superannuation.
Select “Periodic Payment” below
Select “Periodic Payment” so that the calculator is able to calculate your tax in accordance with the ATO’s PAYG income tax withholding table. This selection will also produce weekly, fortnightly, monthly and annual results for you so you do not need to annualise it yourself.
Select on the right side whether it Includes Superannuation
If your salary is quoted as “a package” in your employment contract then this means your salary includes superannuation. This income tax calculator also re-calculates your superannuation so you know what your actual salary and superannuation are.

If you’re repaying student loans such as HELP or HECS debt , tick the “Yes” box and the tax calculator will show you what your student loan repayments will be.
